Gemmae Bake Shop is an amazing place to get a meal at anytime of the day. The restaurant has an amazing vibe and when you walk in you can already smell the freshly baked bread. Are usually go in the morning to order their bungas fish with fried rice or sunny side up egg and longanisa. It always tastes amazing every time. But it’s not their only good dish. They always have amazingly fresh bread and other baked goods. You can even order a cake or get a scoop of ice cream. One of my favorite desserts to get there or taro filled mochi balls. The service is nice and it’s easy to order over the phone or in person. The wait time is never too long and the food will always satisfy you. If you’re ever in Mira Mesa and want to support an Asian owned business this is the place to go.

It opens quite early in the morning, perfect for when you need food after a late night shift or trip to the airport. The food is authentic, made with love by skilled Filipino cooks who are welcoming and friendly. I recommend trying the goto (rice porridge) if you need something to warm yourself up or feel better. Try something new! I think everything in here tastes wonderful.
