Sonic Drive-in

Waited initially 30 minutes for my food. Finally let them know it had not been brought out yet and they said my order did not go through? Waited another 20 minutes for my food to come out. The order is wrong - no ice or lemon in the drink, was supposed to have fries instead of tots, no sauce. They brought out another drink and fries. Still no ice or lemon in the drink and no sauce. Huge waste of time. 1 hour and my order was not right at the end. Finally gave up. I rarely post reviews but if I’m going to be there for 1 hour I would at least like my order to be correct at the end.

The fries were soggy (as if they were sitting around in low temperature oil - not sure just assuming the rational) ordered a chicken sandwich that had nearly all breading on it. Order a #1 w\ only ketchup - ended up with a #2 (more expensive than a #1) and mayo on it somehow - I truely appreciate the workers effort but, not entirely as when i pulled up to pay i seen a mop bucket next to ice cream on the floor that was NOT formed ice cream it was melted and looked like it was there awhile not once did i see anyone attempt the cleaning process when needs to commence immediately unless safety is a concern. Please dont come to work or be in business to be a clock puncher - please take pride in YOURSELF AND YOUR WORK. As your choices grately affect our simple pleasures(food)

This Sonic is relatively new and so the inside is clean and relaxing with 2 televisions, several outlets and open air dining in addition to the drive in stall areas! The bathrooms have easy access and if you go inside to eat and no-one is there just press the button next to the register and they will appear from the kitchen shortly. The food is prepared fresh each time and taste great also! The slushies are excellent along with the fries, corn dogs and Philly steak sandwiches. Make sure to use the app and order ahead since they always have great deals you can't find inside. The waiters are always well prepared and make sure your food gets there on time and if not they may provide you with a reward so service always comes first. It's a must stop whenever you are visiting Pacific Beach California!

Courteous and efficient, the only drawback is how dangerous it can be to pull into or out of their driveway because the street is so packed with traffic, half the time they are going 40 mph then the other half, it’s stopped bumper to bumper. The menu is extensive and the drinks are customizable. I really enjoyed the large iced coffee, they could give Starbucks a run for their money. Cause this drive thru was much faster than Starbucks and the drink was bigger for less money than Starbucks.

Someone needs to train these kids or they need supervision. They didn't even ask me for my payment. If I wasn't on a karma.kick I would have walked off. Then he forgot to.brimg my card back and I had to wait for that too. Probably gave away alot of food though. They had one headset they were using between them, they kept taking turns taking orders by hand and bringing the food out. Zero organization. The left hand didn't know what the right hand was doing. I was there 30 minutes for a sandwich and a soda. Ridiculous.
