Fino Bar & Ristorante

The restaurant is nice with a comfortable waiting area for people who made reservations. The staff is nice and friendly. We got a fruit punch which was pretty good and I recommend it. The food wasn’t bad but it was not delicious either. It was ok. Something to be aware is that they have a spaghetti carbonara which is not really a carbonara. It does not have eggs and it has onions and paper. Although we did not like it, we did not pay enough attention to the menu that says these items are included. They don’t make online reservations, so you need to call them.

Our server Charles was AMAZING! He was very attentive, helpful and made us feel welcomed. Coming out of state, he also recommended different hot spots to check out in SF. Also, the other servers/ cooks/ chefs were all super friendly and made us laugh! The food was delightful. If you ever go here please ask for Charles you won’t be disappointed!

Our visit to Fino for our second anniversary was an unforgettable dining experience, marked by exceptional service and culinary excellence. From the moment we walked in, the quality of service set the tone for a wonderful evening. The staff, especially our waiter, provided impeccable service, with recommendations that enhanced our dining experience. The highlight of Fino is undoubtedly its pasta. Learning that all their pasta is made in-house heightened our anticipation, and rightly so. Each pasta dish we tried was a revelation – fresh, flavorful, and expertly prepared. It’s clear that Fino takes great pride in their craftsmanship, and it shows in every bite. The wine list at Fino is another aspect that deserves high praise.The ambiance of Fino strikes a balance between understated elegance and a cozy intimacy, although it can feel a bit cramped. This, however, does little to detract from the overall experience, as the quality of the food and service more than makes up for it. Fino is an ideal spot for a romantic date night or a special occasion.

I don’t have enough words to express my feelings after visiting this place. From the moment we walked in to the moment we walked out. Our amazing server name was Charles and he made it even more special - service like at the finest restaurant. The place was packed at 8pm on Monday night - that was a good sign! Food and beverages were sooo flavorful!!! We have Brussels sprouts, pasta and tortellini finished by a lava cake. Everything that other tables were getting (yes I was peeking) looked so good and people were nearly licking plates. Good sign! This place is a true hidden gem! Highly recommend and would definitely come back!!

We stayed in SF for a second week. So we're back again for our last dinner. Our granddaughter joined us for this special treat. We had three different main courses and all were delicious. They were fully booked tonight. Reservation is the way to go! We were here two years ago and now we're back. Fino restaurant is our favorite restaurant to go to when we're staying in the City. Great food and wonderful dessert to end the meal with. The service and staff are friendly and they appreciate Happy customers. We're Happy and we're so glad they fit us in last minute. When you're in town check them out, but make a reserve first, not like us! Enjoy! Great food. One of the best! Great service and steaming hot food. Crusty bread. Great dessert.
