Wonderful setting for a special occasion meal with my fiancés 93 year old mom and some old friends. Really outstanding food and very attentive service. All six entrees came out simultaneously and the scallop and poached lobster dishes were truly memorable and turned a simple lunch into a truly memorable event. We’ll definitely be back. Spruce in the Ferrari of fine dining in this neighborhood.

Dining at Spruce in San Francisco was a true five-star experience. From the moment we stepped in, the elegant and warm ambiance set the stage for an exceptional evening. The service was impeccable, with a knowledgeable and attentive staff that made us feel like royalty. The Michelin-starred cuisine was nothing short of a masterpiece. I came here on my birthday for their brunch service and it was wonderful. First off, the service was great, it was professional and attentive yet relaxed and friendly. They even gave me a birthday card when I first arrived as well as a delicious birthday dessert later which I really appreciated. I enjoyed all of the food that I got as well! The brunch started with a just baked coffee cake for the table and that was the perfect way to begin, best coffee cake ever! I had the Dungeness crab toast and that was my favorite thing that I had, it was so mouthwatering and had such yummy flavors. For the main course, I had the red wine braised short ribs with poached eggs, grits, and black truffle, and it was delicious as well. They also had White Asparagus available for a supplemental charge so we added that on as a side. The white chocolate crémeux was such a refreshing dessert, I'm so glad that I got that one!

Beautiful setting for an evening out. Great service and the waitress took her time to give recommendations and describe the dishes. There were a few complimentary bites a long the way that were a pleasant and welcome surprise. Cocktails were balanced nicely and the food cooked to perfection with plenty of sauces!
