This place has a great, elevated take on traditional Mexican cuisine. It’s a little pricy, but all the dishes are wholesome and delicious. They also have a great happy hour at the bar here, which is a great chance to try some of their dishes at a slightly cheaper price. Overall, this is a super charming spot with phenomenal vegan options.

Delicious vegan mexican restaurant! For drinks we got a michelada and an almond milk horchata which was delicious and the flavor is pretty similar to the ones in México. Also ordered the gorditas for appetizers and for the main course some flautas. The food was tasty and the portions were good too. It has a vivid atmosphere with rustic furniture and music (not live). The staff is friendly and attentive.

Oh my goodness. The most delicious Mexican restaurant I've ever been to. And unbelievably vegan! We were on cloud nine! Left feeling so full and happy. Top recommendations: oat milk chagachinos and pozole. The chips and guac were some of the most delicious I’ve had in a long time too. Everything is just YUM YUM under the sun. 🇲🇽🌻🌿🌞

Purely vegan restaurant so it is nice to go somewhere where you don't have to ask a lot of questions or make a lot of substitutions. This is plant forward cuisine so it is while foods focused and the fake meats they have is leveraging soy curls and soy chorizo. Love the mole selection. Food is great and very filling. The neighborhood isn't the greatest but that is what it is. Highly recommend the establishment. BTW, this was the first time I've had a vegan flan (posted a picture of it with this review). The texture was great but I would like it sweeter but still great to have something that rivaled a favorite flavor from my old life.

100% Vegan Mexican food that has an expanded menu built by an educated chef who knows how to blend ingredients that really bring out the best of plant based food. The trendy restaurant offers indoor and outdoor seating (only a couple tables outdoors) and reservations made getting a table super quick upon arrival. MENU ITEMS: Start with a drink because the menu has a full page of cocktails that include tequila, mezcal, and all sorts of unique beverages. Their house margarita offers a flavor of the week (the night I went it was watermelon and strawberry). Next time I need to try the horchata as it is rare to find a dairy free horchata. Appetizers all looks amazing and I ended up ordering the quesadilla. Turns out it is two quesadillas, each a size large enough to feed two people. And the spicy cashew nacho cheese sauce is out of this world. They really made this with a lot of thought and flavor. For the main course I ordered the tacos filled with jackfruit and spiced accordingly with what I assume is chipotle. These were normal taco size (not street taco size) and the black bean side that came with it was delicious (I wish there was more of the black bean side!). Finally for dessert I tried the pumpkin cake, which looked like a mini Bundt cake & had a scoop of (coconut based) ice cream on top. It was so good and definitely worth saving for the end.

Dined at the trendiest vegan restaurant in the Mission District in SF! I’ve been here many times and I’ve been meaning to leave a review. I loved this spread from Gracias Madre. If you haven’t tried their vegan tacos, you’ll be surprised how good and filling they can be! Plantains, jackfruit, you name it. Everything from the rice to the enchiladas were amazing. The restaurant has an authentic Mexican vibe to it. They have a fun outdoor seating area, but I personally love the indoor one better. I just love the decor and vibe when you dine in. There’s also a gorgeous mural on the walls right outside. If you’re looking for a trendy vegan spot in the Mission, this is it!
