Brazen Head

It can get loud, and you might catch yourself shoulder to shoulder with other patrons on a Friday night, but it's worth it. Once, a place where restaurant workers would go to after their shift. Now, it's where many of the cities young set meet for a wonderful martini and steak. It's low lit and has a romance that can bring you back in time. May it never change.

I really wanted a place to have a good ol fashioned steak and potatoes meal that didn't look like an iPhone store and filled with stuffy people, and boy did they deliver! My steak was perfectly cooked, the onion soup was insane and the service was attentive. Love the old school and comfortable atmosphere. Definitely a place to check out!

The Brazen Head was first introduced to me by a male friend who lived nearby. Despite his preference for upscale places, I was surprised when he suggested we dine at the pub for our late dinner date. Upon entering, I understood his fondness for the place. It exuded an old-school charm and a hint of dark allure, perfect for a post-dinner engagement or nightcap. The bartenders were excellent, crafting superb Vesper martinis. The menu's standout item was the delicious prime rib sliders. It's a local hangout known for its cool, chic, and worldly atmosphere. The diverse crowd of locals and tourists, adds to its appeal.

This is such a find. We are staying nearby at the Hotel Del Sol and wanted to eat locally. So glad we did, as this is a really excellent restaurant. The steaks were fantastic, cooked perfectly with delicious sauces. Both kids had meatballs and said they were the best they'd had. We went for desserts too and the chef nailed it again, with delicious carrot cake, fallen angel torte and creme brulee. Highly recommended.

Had dinner here for date night. It's dark but cozy and gives off old school vibes. We ordered escargot to try and they were super tasty! For my dinner, I got the NY pepper steak and enjoyed it. Even though the bar looks amazing, their cocktails are not great. I got a $12 whiskey sour that tasted like a $5 dive bar drink. Maybe I'll have to try a different cocktail next time or maybe I'll just stick to wine. Service was good but the tip recommendation was a bit ridiculous - something like 20%, 30%, and 40%. Overall, we enjoyed date night here.
