The service was the best with Melvin. He is so honest and genuine. I’ve been in different states and restaurants and I must say that Melvin has been the most authentic and kind person I’ve ever met. His recommendation was accurate and honest. He is a gem in this place. I foresee a great future for him.
The food was good. I enjoyed the drinks and the atmosphere. The decoration was interesting and chic.

Mochica deftly earned a place on my list of favorite restaurants in San Francisco. The service is wonderful and the restaurant itself is cozy, but the food… oh boy. The food is phenomenal. Everything is flavorful and unique and perfectly prepared. Order with wild abandon, you can’t go wrong.

It was too cold for me to be outside, and we didnt have a reservation because of the last minute plans. Food was good. Everyone liked their plates. The Rice with seafood was the tastiest. I ordered Chancho i didn't like :( . service was great 👍🏾 i will.come back for HH.

Ceviches were amazing. The octopus was delicious. Service excellent. On the pricey side but worth the value.

Have been to this location many times over when I lived in the neighborhood. Many years ago.
They have very good dishes and a somewhat impressive Mac and cheese!
Recently visited and was a little let down by the service and some of the dishes. Their ceviche is very good and worth it that's for sure.

Amazing dinner at Mochica. The pork belly with rice was the best meal I had during my one week vacation in San Francisco! Cool place, great terrasse, good wine and exquisite food.

It was so delicious. I took the aguadito de pollo in cilantro broth. The chicken was tender, the veggies crispytender. There were more veggies than rice noodles. I will be remembering the broth for a long time. Generous portion.

Had a great experience here catching up with friends in town. Their food was delicious. I’m not one for pork belly or heavy meats, and even I enjoyed their pork belly. Great local place to check out!

My hair stylist lives in this neighborhood, he highly recommended me to try. Thanks for his advice! Some special dishes that you can find here (so far in SF) - baby 🐙, half pollo 🐔, and pork belly skewers 🐷. When I wana have grill chix, this restaurant is my first choice. I love the herbal spice they use to cook the pork belly…😋. Their herbal spice seasoning matches the 🐔and 🐷.
Ceviche is average for me, nice to have.
😵💫Similar to other customers, the foods were not hot enough, especially lunchtime, the inside meat still froze.

Food was really fantastic here! We loved everything, not a complaint at all. The cebiche is one of the best I've had.
Service was very attentive without being smothering and they didn't try to force us out. Music is nice and festive without being too loud. Love this place and will be back!
