Jack's Cannery Bar And Oyster Pier

We came here on a Thursday afternoon. Service was quite good. Got a bunch of $1 oysters and a few good IPA’s from the 80 beer bar selection. Best part of the whole experience was the guitarist who played some classics and kept us entertained. My only criticism is that they could have lit the fire place a little earlier. CASH ONLY BAR.... IT IS WORTH TRYING IT THEY HAVE A LARGE SELECTION OF TAP BEER AND DRINKS THEIR DECOR IS AMAZING WITH PLENTY OF SEATING SPACE. SOMETIMES YOU WILL FIND LIVE MUSIC AND THEIR PATIO OPEN. $1 OYSTERS AND HAPPY HOUR ARE A GOOD WAY TO SAVE SOME MONEY AND ENJOY THE PLACE WITH THEIR FRIENDLY STAFF.

Worth trying! I’ve gone both times I’ve been in San Fran. It’s older and super dusty if you look up high but that doesn’t effect the taste of beer, which is what this place is all about. My one complaint is the fact they are cash only, in 2018? Obviously they make money off the huge charge to use the ATM, smart business actually! (To be clear, the atm is not at all a big deal, old school bar) Love that they have a photo booth for you to take home some good photos after some beer. Cheers

Great tap beer selection. Although about 10 of the legs are killed, they still have at least 40-50 available. This is my second time here, and the bartenders have been friendly and sociable both times. Isn't try the food, but they have $1 oysters daily and have not seen any other patrons both about their food. Best bar I have found by the piers.
