Very traditional Italian restaurant. It's a very small venue so it can be difficult to secure a table. I've been here for work engagements with a large party several times. The owner is heavily involved and an amazing host. The food is superb and if you're doing multiple courses, do not eat heavily before otherwise you will be unable to enjoy the fabulous desserts. I've had the pleasure of witnessing the owner sing, which is a delight for everyone in attendance. This is a gem of a restaurant that you have to enjoy. The view out the window is of the bay bridge which is fantastic at night when it's not socked in by fog.

An orgasmic experience with every bite..This is truly a gem. Hidden in Russian Hill with a view of the beautifully lit Bay bridge. . The chef....lets talk about the Chef Lorenzo....WOW...an explosion of personality. Service..hospitality. Excellence. I could go ad infinitum to extol Chef Lorenzo's magic in the kitchen but his food speaks for itself! Oscar's spectacular service and hospitality are bar none. Words cannot describe how strongly feel about recommending this wonderful establishment! Ed De Andrade

THIS is the place for authentic italian pasta in nob hill. it's an establishment. you will get first class treatment from the chef who lives in the apartment above his restaurant and truly puts heart & soul into this place. many famous people have dined here, but it still feels local and authentic. get reservations if you go!
