Bobo's Burger Bar

Great place for a restaurant style burger. The staff is friendly and the place is very cosy with it's warm and vibrant colours. Totally loved the burgers. We had 2 between us and had them cut in half to share. I'd return here next time I'm in Russian Hill, for sure! As we had just arrived in San Fransisco for our first time, and first evening, this was a great welcome to the city.

Fantastic! Our waiter was warm and welcoming the moment we opened the front door. We sat down had drinks served quickly and asked about the menu. We made our choices and he was kind enough to explain that we've probably over ordered and helped us make changes. The meals came out quickly and we're tasty. I'd say one of the best steak burgers I've ever eaten. Topped off with some excellent onion rings I would suggest to anyone wanting a great value and extra tasty meal to give Bobo's Burger Bar a go. We have booked a table at the crab and steak house next door so I'm sure it will be just as good! Thank you.

I'm visiting the area. After walking around SF for roughly 2 hours unable to decide where to go, I stumbled upon this place. I know I screamed tourist, with my many bags from the Chinatown area, my flushed face from walking uphill (ohio is flat) and the obvious fact that 54 degree weather made me break a sweat. Thankfully, I snuck in, sat down, and no one paid me any mind. DISCLAIMER: I don't eat burgers and second, I have a severe food allergy. The waiter (appears there is only one) helped me through the menu, followed up with the kitchen about my allergy, and promptly took my order. I ordered chicken (no judging). It took a bit to get the food but when it arrived it was hot and delicious. I ate it all...(again, no judge). I also drank two beers. A very good CA IPA was on draft and although I didn't partake, the bar looked well stocked. As the evening continued, it got busy. The place was packed by 8pm. I certainly don't know what to expect when I walked in, however, I am glad that I took the risk. If you are in the area looking for food I would stop in. The environment is relaxed, the service is friendly, and the food is definitely good.
