It was cool to go to the game night! Great selections!
I gave 4 stars since it's a bar vibe here but the tender was unenthuzed.
As a bar manager, you make regulars by prompting conversations and making relationships. She barely took my order. I think the manager served my my first drink. He was nice. I mean, she wasn't rude at all, she just barely looked at me as I sat a lone at the bar for a while. Just seemed odd. Still 4-stars. Still will go back. Maybe I'll get a smile out of her 🙂

Been going to city beer for close to a decade now, ultimately of the three locations their newest one is the worst, but I suspect it was necessary after COVID and unsustainability of its mission st. spot. I still appreciate the online store and will come here if there is an amazing tap takeover but not a must to frequent anymore. Most pics you'll see on this listing are the old locations.

A cool local beer bar/shop with food options. We came here as my friend wanted to try the Russian River Pliny The Elder. The place itself was pretty nice with a patio in the front and a beer shop in the back. The bar had several local beers on tap. I opted for the cherry cider as I don't drink much beer. The cider was nice and refreshing. The service was friendly.

Awesome selections of draft beers to drink with store in back! Also, the city beer store burger is an excellent choice. I tried it with a side of tator tots and enjoyed the meal. The burger is small, however, it's two patties with american cheese make it very fulfilling. Very, very tasty! Tip: Visit during lunch time for small to no crowd at all!

This store/bar is amazing. If you are anywhere near mission street and have any affection or curiosity for amazing and interesting beer, then visit. Drink a beer off tap, but a bottle and drink it there or take them home, everything goes. Highly recommended.

This place went from a small bottle shop to a fancy taproom and it's great. Tons of good stuff an tap and a well stocked bottle shop plus hispterish food menu. A great place to be. There is even a small terrace outside. I had some fresh Alvarado Street goodness and it was worth the trip just for that alone. There was a guy sh**ing on the the sidewalk across the street, but hey, it's San Francisco, what can you do.

Extensive 🍺 selection on tap. Tried an "Everybody's Juicin" from Burgeon Brewing. There were many other 🍺 that I wanted to try. But will have to wait for next time.
Since they moved to this new space, they opened up a kitchen with excellent food. Ordered the onion rings which had salt and vinegar seasoning, gnocchi, and brussel sprouts.

What an awesome beer store!
This place has a great selection of both local and out-of-state brews. I was surprised at first to see that it had a bar with beer on tap, because I thought it was only a bottle shop.
The bar also allows you (and encourages you) to buy bottles and open them to enjoy them in there, which is a big plus!.
Dimly lit, chill atmosphere to enjoy a couple of beers and have fun. Will definitely come back to see what I can find!

Great place to chill out with a fresh draft/beer bottle in your hands! No food tho but few snacks choices available munch on.
We came here Saturday around 3pm and it was buzzing but we found a place to sit. Huge selections of beer bottles to take home or have there (corkage will apply). We tried the fermented IPA Powerage and dark beer with grapes.
All in all great experience. Friendly service and clean place.
