Love this place! So happy I live close now and can go in a few times a week. Pastry’s are amazing and coffee is top notch too. All the staff are super bright and friendly.

Just discovered this place and so glad I did. I have never had such a wonderful staff. We have been looking for pulled pork sandwiches everywhere and low and behold we found the best ever. Buy 3 or 4 a week and everyone is perfect on freshly bread. So glad I found this place.

Just stumbled upon Thorough Bread & Pastry, a charming bakery and coffee shop that bakes their own goodies. The staff here is fantastic! There's a sunny street-side area and a cozy backyard. They've been a local gem for years. Unfortunately, the recent city construction on Church Street has made it challenging to see if they're open, impacting their business significantly. The croissants won 3rd place in the 2023 San Francisco Croissant Competition. Note;Their specialty croissants are stellar. Breads are yummy. They are a 2018 SF Best Baguette Competition. As you can tell, this bakery is worth a visit!

Lovely cafe in the Duboce Triangle. Outside doesn’t indicate the inside. There’s a sit in portion as well as a cool outside where they have a calm vibe. They offer a wide array of pastries and teas and coffee. I got an almond croissant and it was really good! Want to try their bread at some point.

Super tasty desserts and sandwiches. Got the almond croissant, pulled pork sandwich, and chicken melt sandwich. The almond croissant had very good flakiness and the cream in the center was just the right amount. Both sandwiches tasted great. The price came to about $26, which is superb for the quality. They also don't ask for tips - this is all self-serve.
