Burger Urge

I woke up today craving their shawarma fries. Not only does this place serve fantastic food but the owner and his staff are wonderful. We lived up the street from them during our time in SF and has so many delicious meals here. Not only that but I often dined in and relaxed knowing I would not be rushed along, could order delicious mint tea and just think my thoughts. If he was out sweeping the sidewalk, the owner would say hi to us whenever we walked past (our nervous dog too!) He was so neighborly. A truly excellent place and a jewel of the neighborhood.

Came in for a small snack and found that they sell cheese filled falafels!! That was enough to intrigue me so I got one and waited about 15 minutes which was a bit of time for one falafel. However when it came out I could see why. Not only was it freshly made, it was very thick! The flavor isn’t that strong and it’s a little dry but there’s a good cheese pull and they give you hummus to dip it in so it ends up being alright!

The staff here is very friendly and helpful. I had the lamb and beef wrap. It had some of the tastiest meat I've had in a wrap in a long time. The meat was both flavorful and moist. The price was good for the size of the wrap as well. A nice surprising corner restaurant in the Haight. Two thumbs up.👍👍😀
