Nook Cafe

I've lived down the street from this place for about a year. I've grabbed quick coffees before work, food on the weekends, brought friends over when they're visiting the city - and every time, the quality of the food, coffee, and service is great. Tommy has made me feel welcome every time I visit, as well as my dog, Mimi, and any friends that might be visiting. If you're looking for a go-to spot, highly recommend this spot!

This is a great spot for remote work or just grabbing a quick bite w friends. I had the hot chocolate before settling in to work, then ordered the tomato sandwich for lunch, and both were delicious! The servers are super nice and friendly, and if you’re lucky you’ll see a few cute dogs come in while their owners get coffee. The atmosphere is one of a cozy neighborhood cafe, and you can get good work in or sit and watch the cable cars lumber by. I definitely recommend stopping here, and I’m quite jealous of the locals who can stop by all year round! Do note that they ask any remote workers to get food at the cafe, or only spend an hour working there. That way they can still make money and serve hungry people during lunch

This is such a cute cafe! Such a San Franciscan experience sipping good (Equator) coffee, having delicious food (somehow even a simple breakfast burrito is AMAZING), all the while watching the vintage cable cars passing on two sides of the cafe. Good seating and WiFi options. Make the trip, you will be glad you did!

It is a small cozy establishment on the corner and the couple that runs it is really nice and friendly. Due to covid I called in advanced and the lady got me order and I paid when I got there. I got the salmon bagel and it was good but it needed some citrus to give it some flavor. LOL I think someone else on the Google Review said they had too much of the lemon so I guess they toned it down.

Lovely little corner cafe! I had a veggie omelette and my friend had the veggie soup, both were delicious and severed quickly. We also enjoyed wonderful coffee (equator coffee!!) and a slice of cake, all of which was excellent! Staff was friendly and knowledgeable too! Will definitely be back! P.S. They gave 3 tables for outdoor dining!
