Tasty Egyptian food in the TenderNob. Affordable prices and nice portion sizes. The lamb and beef shawarma is always a hit in dish form or wrap. And so is the hummus. The Koshari was delicious. It was a beautiful symphony of different flavors and textures. The jute plant soup on the other hand is an acquired taste for sure. Tasty but texture wise.

We got the King Tut fries because of the superficial similarities to the super fries menu option you see in Tucson. We also got a shawarma wrap and some fries. Everything was made to order and it was great. The restaurant is cozy, the person who took our order and brought our food was really nice. It didn’t seem like we ordered that much, but we did have to get a box to take home a ton of leftovers. As a first timer to San Francisco it can be a little overwhelming to navigate at first. This was a great spot to feel welcome and take a break from the hustle and bustle.

Thank goodness I read the review before mine. First I got a beef and lamb shawarma / wrap. Then, did another order for Knafeh and Koshari. Hot dayumn!!!! This place is a must. Food is killer. The man up front is super nice. I went in total an hour out of my way this evening to make this happen and it was so worth it.

They make a really delicious shawarma - and it always arrives hot from delivery. The meat is juicy, tender, and flavourful. The garlic sauce is top tier, and extra points for being dairy free. They have also been willing to do replacements within the wrap itself, so I appreciate that level of service and accommodation. I highly recommend this spot.
