Mi Lindo Peru

Nice little unpretentious, unassuming little spot with good food! Popped in here because we were craving Peruvian food and waiting for a concert across the street at The Knockout. The prices are a little high (like most places these days) and we weren't super hungry, so we shared a ceviche de pescado (I believe it was red snapper) and some fried plantains. Both were quite good, and the server was friendly, and brought us additional bread and plantain chips. It was a nice and relaxed, casual experience with fresh food and no nonsense.

We have been coming here off and on for over 20 years. We were happy to take Muni bus line 29 then the 49 to have a nice lunch for our family of five on a day trip to the city. We were hungry after walking the morning being tourists in our own backyard. Three apetizers, four entrees, and 2-liter bottle of Inca Cola, with tip came out to $190. Big plates of good food. Sorry we don't have pictures of all the great food.

Such good food! We just got back from it and I'm still thinking about their garlic shrimp. Note that the food here is not "fancy", it's just honest and made with love. The potatoes from the garlic shrimp brought back so many memories of my grandma and made it the best dinner I could have around here. Their empanadas are also delicious (especially if mixed with the spicy salad that comes with it). If you're looking for an authentic Latin flavored comfort food, this is definitely the spot!

Mi Lindo Peru... two words: Muy Bueno! I was craving Peruvian today and stumbled upon Mi Lindo Peru when “another” Peruvian place I was going to was closed. I wasn’t disappointed as Mi Lindo Peru was as authentic as can be, sans the llamas roaming outside! I ordered the Lomo Saltado (steak stir fry) that came with Rice and best bread, ever! The Sangria I ordered had a nice kick to it and lucky I ate all that bread first lol. About $30 for my experience and staff was Latino friendly;) Parked on Geneva/Mission.

Excellent restaurant . I reserve 5 stars for the ultimate dining experience, but this place is close to that. The sangria is excellent and our dishes were fantastic. This place has a local feel and very friendly staff. I highly recommend this place and will go back. Most dinners are in the $18 range.
