Patxi's Pizza

I'm all about their deep dish. Especially the Matt Cain dish. That's by far my favorite go to order at this place. If you do get a deep dish pizza, just know it takes a little longer to cook, so be patient. I ordered takeout, so can't speak on the service, but my pizza was ready to go when I arrived. Would definitely be back after knowing I have one of these close to my place.

The manager is amazing. Great customer service and very personable. I'll definitely be coming back with some friends. The food was all great. Pizza had a thin crispy crust, just the right amount of pizza sauce, and fresh toppings. My order came up quickly. And the bathroom was clean. They provide hand sanitizer and require masks. Covid safe.

I would like to give a shout out to the manager at this Irving location. While the pizza is decent, what made this the best experience for us is the care and attention paid to us by the manager. While this is a busy place, he was attentive and gracious. Not easy to do with the current demands on restaurants during this difficult Covid time. I trust that as an employee centered business you will give the appropriate recognition this man so truly deserves. His name is Mark. Will definitely return and recommend to my friends.

This pizza place is a small quaint place. The server was very nice and attentive. He was very happy to answer any questions you might have. The food was delicious. They have regular and kids menu. The kids menu allows you to build your own pizza slice or choose the cheese piadine which is like a pizza quesadilla.

Holy Meatball Bread Bowl! I came in during happy hour just to test the waters and see how happy their happy hour really is. The meatball appetizer option was insanely good: the big serving, five meatballs, and the bread bowl was awesome. Basically you're getting a deep dish meatball pizza. The Piadin was tasty perhaps a little undercooked but worth another shot. Overall a great experience!

Local, deep dish pizza chain. As with most deep dish pizza places, it takes time to make your pizza, so be prepared for a 30 minute food wait (the staff is quick to warn you on that front). This location has always provided great service, but my experience with the pizza has been uneven. I've had good deep dish on some nights - inconsistent and oily on others. They also make good thin crust and pan pizzas, but I think their best options are in the deep dish category.

Came here on Pi day (March 14, 2018) with the family and left STUFFED! The buy one get one free, pi day special was a super great deal, as regular menu prices can be a tad bit high for my budget. FYI, parking on Irving can be tricky sometimes but there a couple of metered, public parking lots within walking distance, and there is street parking too. It's doable. Service was just Ok (friendly but not fast), but I'm not hung up on service (unless the server challenges me to a knife fight). It was somewhat busy when we arrived. Kids got the crayons and drawing paper fairly quickly. Table was a bit sitcky (which I can overlook, but wanted to mention for the sake of others). We ordered two deep dish pizzas; one pepperoni and one cheese with pesto. They were BOMB! Crust was surprisingly light for a deep dish, and the puzza was not super greasy (i.e. Little Star, which I also like). It's deep dish, so of course it was heavy but that was expected. Even my wife, who isn't a huge Chicago deep dish fan in general, was lovin it. My older daughter exclaimed that this was the best pizza ever! Disclaimer - she can be a bit dramatic at times. Two adults and two small children left super full and on the verge of a food coma (one of the kiddos knocked out in the car ride just minutes later). We also had two more food comas' worth of leftovers to take home. Good times, we'll be back for sure.
