Black Sands

I love this little brewery in Lower Haight. It was a cold day and I had just finished up work around the corner and needed a beer. The Yuzu beer special hit the spot. The waitress was very attentive and they had heaters to keep you warm. I appreciated the attention the business has towards COVID and the cleanliness of the bathroom. The chairs could be a little more comfortable, but it wasn't bad at all. I ordered a pretzel and mustard in the middle of my visit and it was nice and warm, perfect with my beer. I wish I lived close by just so I could walk over and have a beer more often. I'll be back the next time I'm here though!

I love Fort Point. They have great outdoor tables to enjoy beers and hot dog. Service is friendly, beers are made locally. Very limited menu at the moment but within a few weeks they are going to bring a larger food menu over from the Valencia outpost (it's so good - back in Before Covid times, we'd go for just the party bread, and the beers would be a nice plus). Outdoor seating only. A heads up: Most of the reviews here are for Black Sands, which was bought by Fort Point last year, closed and reopened. It's not the same place and the beers are different.

Amazing brewery right in the Haight area of San Francisco. Had a veggie burger with bacon. Oh my god so delicious. But I also ordered the flight of beer with six different ones to try from. I was so full after. But in a good way. :-) Very cool looking place. Nice crowd. And the bartenders were super friendly. Will definitely be back!
