Excellent food, big space to spread out/chill, and huge beer selection. It’s honestly insane that the place wasn’t packed. I got the tandoori paneer with naan bread and was beyond impressed. Easily one of the best dishes I’ve had at an Indian restaurant. Bartender also recommended some great local beers I hadn’t heard of before. There’s pool tables, dart boards, a big outdoor patio space, and amazing food/drinks. Don’t know what more you could ask for from a restaurant/bar

Called in for a drink whilst sightseeing and ended up staying for a couple of great refreshing beers and also had a fantastic Kebab wrap from the Indian menu. Peter was a fabulous host, friendly and attentive. The beers served in cold glasses, enjoyed on the patio watching the cable cars go by. Food lived up to its reputation, tasty spicy and filling! All for a price less than we'd paid just for a shared breakfast a block away that morning! If you come off the cable car and need refreshments then just go back 1 block to Peters place rather than straight the Wharf and you'll not be disappointed! Thanks for a great experience.

For the past 15 or so years, Kennedy's has been one of my favorite spots for beers and food. On this last visit, the food was great (as always) but it took a while for the food to come out. Aside from that, the staff service was good and their beer selection is always solid. I think they could do with a bit of a remodel/some updating in the front of the house since it's starting to look a bit rundown. Regardless, I highly recommend giving Kennedy's a try.

We were looking for some food after a night tour of Alcatraz that was near our hotel. They weren’t very busy when we walked in on a Tuesday night and we were hoping that wasn’t a sign of something we hadn’t read in reviews. Yay for us - we all had delicious food. We ordered Chicken Curry, Chicken Tikka Masala and Chicken Biryani and all three were very good. Our Chicken Biryani eaters didn’t realize their meals were going to be as spicy as they were - that was our fault for not asking. Our crew still liked it a lot, we just went through a lot of water and some extra basmati rice. This place also had beer, a few wine options and ciders with the most options for beers. Staff was very friendly and attentive.

My wife and I ate here earlier today. She had chicken tikka masala and I had a mixed tandoori and another main of tandoori chicken. I also had a pint of Guinness and we also had a Diet Coke each. When you walk in, there’s a touch screen you order at: nobody greets/seats you. Then you take your seat. There was no real atmosphere and there was only one other couple in when we arrived. The toilets also left a lot to be desired. All that said, the food and service were both excellent. I couldn’t fault either, and that’s why we came: to eat. It’s absolutely no frills whatsoever but if you want some fantastic Indian food, I can highly recommend this place. We paid $80.27 which included the tip.

Kennedy's Irish pub which serves indian food. Good food which satisfied our indian taste buds. Try palak paneer, which is not the same which is served every where. They make their own paneer.
