Wildhawk

Impressive service in a cozy atmosphere. Wildhawk has an extensive signature cocktail collection, including a selection of martinis. The drinks are not only solid, but a bit more exotic than what you'd find at most bars in the area. I was blown away by the bartender. We arrived on a Wednesday with a few friends, which over the course of an hour unexpectedly turned into over a dozen friends-of-friends-of-friends. The one bartender was able to take care of everyone on her own before help arrived. If the menu suits your taste, you won't be disappointed by Wildhawk.

Good, but pricey. They buck the trend of most bars, where usually the price you see is the price you pay: expect instead to pay about 13% more than the price you see (they add sales tax and the healthy SF add on). I'm not going to die on this hill, but it resulted in slight sticker shock when my $18 martini added up to $20.30, before tip. But it's a nice space and the staff were friendly and the drink was well crafted. Yet inflation is already enough of a drag, so this won't become my regular neighborhood hangout.
