Was here and got the wanton noodles and porridge.. The serving was huge and food tasted great. Most importantly the staff were extremely kind and were attentive to our needs..
Would definitely recommend this breakfast place. And, i think name of the shop was been changed to Hon’s Wun-Tun House.

We will miss you, Washington Bakery. It was our weekly hangout for all 5 years we were in San Francisco. Really grateful for all the breakfasts and Hong Kong style foods served by kind staff and a great open kitchen. We always got baked goods to go.

It's a good Hong Kong style Cafe. Waitresses are very friendly. The food is above average. They offer both indoor and outdoor seating.

I got the minced beef porridge for breakfast and some milk tea. It hit the spot! Customer service is excellent, and service is quick. I recommend this place for a warm and delicious breakfast. Enjoy!

Really nice little bakery and restaurant I had the Mongolian beef and we tried there buns and egg tarts it was all really good!

Friendly staff, delicious food! The roti duck wrap was our favorite and the tomato beef noodles were not bad too. Heated up well for leftovers too. A no-frills place for when you just want some good comfort food.

Great HK style food. Very good HK milk tea (港茶) Quick service. Nice place in Chinatown. The roast duck wrapper is just like the Peking duck, very good and tasty.

Was walking through Chinatown and trying to find a place to eat. Came across Washington bakery and decided to go there. Extremely nice staff helped us by recommending the duck wrap which was very good. Also had their jasmine tea. The bakery had excellent tiramisu and coffee hazelnut pastry. Both of which topped off the meal nicely. Would recommend and go again.

Washington Bakery & Restaurant in San Francisco-Chinatown truly has the BEST Chinese Porridge in the Bay Area. I've been dining there with my family for the past 20 years and our server Anna is amazing. She has been taking good care of us since, and knows exactly what and how we like our food.
The restaurant was recently remodeled back in December and is great to see that Chelsea (pictured) is running the business now.
The Fish Filet Porridge, Preserve Egg & Pork Porridge, Chinese Fried Bread, Salt & Pepper Chicken Wings, Lemon Iced Tea is our top favorite items to order. The Won Ton Noodle Soup, Shrimp Dumpling Noodle Soup, Chicken Chow Fun, and Potstickers are delicious choices too.
