Mateo's Taqueria

Came here for a buritto based on a recommendation from a friend. A wee bit pricey but the chicken burrito was quite tasty. They sadly don't have any fresh jalapeños (I love adding them to burritos!) but their hot sauce more than made up for it. It was delicious and pleasantly spicy. Would go back again if I'm in the area.

We were exploring the area and decided Mexican food would be great for lunch. My husband found this place nearby and we walked in out of the rain. We barely beat the lunch rush when we placed our order. Took us a little but to decide but after asking the staff a couple questions we decided. Carnita chilaquiles, chorizo and potato taco, and an alpastor taco. Both of us raised an eyebrow when we heard the total, then we heard our number and saw the amount of food and the price made sense. It was a ton of food and very bright and attractive. We tried all the salsas. Everything we ate had such amazing flavor. So many different notes and textures. It was very common food made in an upscale way. We very much enjoyed everything about this place. The restaurant was bright and open. Restrooms were very clean as well. All and all a great place to eat.

Wow this place has huge servings. I ordered a couple carne asada tacos and Bam they could be five huge tacos easily. Cool space, nice folks and nice beer selection. I wish they had a few beers on draft, but it's ok. Also, the bathrooms are super clean. Bathrooms really do make the place. This place is good for large parties since you pay and order up front. No hassle. For the reviewers that gave less then 2 stars you must have voted for Trump.
