Casual spot for some good fried food and noodles. They're known for their chicken wings, but we also like their Cherry Pork/Chicken. I always get the Black Bean Sauce Noodles with a fried egg! The dumplings can come boiled instead of fried but they weren't flavorful so I'll remember to skip that next time. There can be a wait at peak hours but staff are friendly and efficient.

This was the 1st time I went there because my coworkers told me it has the best wings in the area. I reached there around 12:05 (probably peak hour) and had to wait 10 mins to get seated - which is not bad at all. I ordered an order of wings, pot stickers, and black sauce noodles. All three were amazing. My fav was however the huge pot-stickers. The wings were pretty good too. Filled with sauce and spices. Not for people who care about the diet. The food arrived in 15 mins and the check was quick. I enjoyed every bit of it and I am definitely going back here for more.

Picked a quick place to eat as we only had about an hour. It really helped when we arrived right when it opened at night and we were the first customers, haha. It seems like it could get pretty crowded so I'm glad we were able to try it with no wait. We got the SO Black (noodles) and chicken wings. The SO Black were pretty good. I liked how chewy the noodles were and it definitely didn't lack flavor. But my fave was totally the chicken wings. It was meat-y, had tons of flavor and had a really good kick of spice so for those who can't handle it, have a glass of water ready. I definitely recommend the chicken wings. Overall, good food with lots of flavor. Get the chicken wings.

I came by this place because my friend recommended me. This place was a hole in the wall, it was at the most random-est location. I came by this place and ordered the black bean noodles, stir fried green beans and the chicken wings! The black bean noodles were pretty good but I wish it was a little bit spicier. Green beans were flavorful and the chicken wings were delicious. Their chicken wings are actually different from San trungs! They tasted like white pepper versus San tang where it is sweet and tangy! Next time I come here I'm going to try that Mao pao tofu! The table next to me had it and it looks delicious. Price is cheap and it's easy to find street parking!

I absolutely love SO! When I lived in the area, I was here at least once every couple of weeks. My favorites are the chicken wings, the string beans, the black bean noodles AND the SO black bean noodles, and the pork with mustard greens noodle soup. the portions are HUGE, which is awesome. They are sometimes closed at random days and times (one time it was because they all went to vegas), so I would recommend calling before venturing over there!

My boyfriend and I ordered take out from SO last night after hearing great things about their wings. We called in an order around 7pm and were told that our food would be ready in 15 minutes. We ordered wings, calamari, dried sautéed string beans, and chipotle sausage fried rice. The chicken wings were crisper, spicier, and not as saucy or sweet as San Tung's chicken wings, but still really good. The calamari came in big chunks with a batter and sauce similar to that of their chicken wings. I would pass on these if you're planning on getting the wings. The string beans were also really good and tasted like they were from an authentic Chinese restaurant. The chipotle sausage fried rice was also another good dish, but very spicy with jalapeno peppers pieces and black pepper in the fried rice. I had to drink a lot of water with my meal, but that was a given seeing how they publicly announce they use MSG. Overall, a pretty good place to grab Chinese food especially when I'm too lazy to make a trip to San Tung's.
