Awesome place to work / study. A local place and a beautiful vine above the cashier that was planted many years ago. Remember to bring cash.

No free WiFi on the weekends, bit other than that this place is perfect. Good service, great coffee, nice environment all attached to an awesome bookstore. This place is great.

Cozy, welcoming setting with very friendly staff. Food offerings are basic and bare in mind that the wifi comes on at 9am. No wifi on the weekends! Cash only!

One of the few places that doesn't smother their bagels in an inch-thick layer of cream cheese. Also, they don't seem to play music here so it's great for reading (probably the books you get from Borderlands Books next door).

this is the type of coffee shoppe that I've enjoyed going to for years. it is a fun place to meet up. the baristas are both fun and funny while they are also thoughtful and hard working. several writing groups meet up here if that is your thing. there are magazines to both peruse for free and to purchase. the wifi is ample. And, additionally the cafe is connected to the best sci-fi/fantasy bookstore in the Bay Area. this is a fantastic place to get your caffeine on. i highly recommend going either by yourself ir bring a group!

There is cozy and warm atmosphere to take coffee, tea, hot chocolate, juice and etc.

This cafe attached to a bookstore is beautiful and exactly what I want from a coffee shop. The wood floors and decor are plain and inviting. The ambiance is warm and quiet, perfect for reading a book (or working ... if you must.)
Cash only is a little bit of a bummer, but come prepared, and you won't regret it!
