Sea Breeze Cafe

Cute little cafe close to the beach. Coffee is okay, a bit too burnt for us. OJ isn’t too sweet or too tangy, it’s not my personal favorite but it’s good enough. We ordered the flapjacks, Benedict sauce, veggie omelette, and a side of eggs with avocado. The veggies themselves were fresh, so were the eggs. We enjoyed the flapjacks also, very fluffy and vanilla-y. The syrup was perfect. The house potatoes are crispy and while they lack flavor from spices, I assume it’s because ketchup and hot sauce do it. Which is cool with me because I love ketchup, but it would be nice to eat a potato with more spice based flavor if that makes sense. The omelette was pretty disappointing. The veggies were cooked separately which was odd, and they were quite watery. There wasn’t even any cheese in it to hold it together. I was disappointed with it, and think they could really make the veggie omelette something scrumptious if they reworked it. Service was definitely great. We were brought sauces, spices, jams, and sugar for coffee almost immediately and our server was quick to answer questions and clear our plates. We will be back, and will just stick to basics. I give it a 7/10 overall.

TLDR: portions are nice and big, quick and friendly service. I ordered a BLT with avocado and it came with a side salad. Portion was a bit bigger than I would have imagined, very filling. The menu is pretty basic and the food isn’t fancy but it tastes just fine. Service was quick and efficient, order came out exactly at the time they said.

We went on a late Wednesday morning just after they opened. We seemed to be the first guests. Very casual. The lady who took our order kinda made me feel like I was being rushed, but it wasn't a big deal. We got one of their benedicts and the southwest omelet. Generous servings. Their potatoes were great. The spinach was a bit meh. The chipotle cream sauce for the benedict was delicious but was really rich. You'll need a drink to balance that out. The omelet was okay. Overall, it was a nice spot for a relaxed brunch.

The food selection was absolutely amazing, with a wide variety of options to choose from. The highlight for me was the salmon filet sandwich, which turned out to be the perfect remedy for my hangover. It provided a refreshing and satisfying experience that helped alleviate the discomfort and rejuvenate my senses. Additionally, the coffee choices were plentiful, offering an array of flavors and blends to suit every preference. It was a delightful culinary experience that left me thoroughly satisfied and ready to take on the day.
