Panda Express

This is one of the best Americanized-Chinese food places I've been to. I've tried looking for places that taste similar in my home city (Vancouver, BC) and nowhere comes close. INTERIOR: The inside is constantly greasy and very spartan. But what do you expect from a low-cost Chinese restaurant? There's nothing much to write about, so I'd suggest that you order takeout if you want somewhere more comfortable to sit and enjoy your meal. SERVICE: Fast but impersonal, just like all other fast food places. My friend and I barely got acknowledged or greeted by the employee, let alone made eye contact. But we did go in the middle of rush hour when everyone was getting off work so there was a long lineup. FOOD: This is where the chain restaurant excels. The portions are humungous so I only needed the one starch, one side option to fill me up. The chow mein isn't overly greasy, and the golden shrimp at this location are pretty crispy. I would definitely return and eat here again.

Judging by the location I was kinda hesitant to visit. After walking around the area earlier, it was fine, so I decide to stop in. Food was fresh during my visit. I've actually eaten here 3 additional times since my first visit. Each time Ive entered, cooks are always cooking to ensure fresh batches of meat and sides are on the steam table for purchase. Places isnt messy or trashy. Bottled drinks sitting by the register in ice needs to be colder, maybe refrigerated. Fountain drinks are fine. I spoke clearly and loud while placing my order during peak hours because this place can get loud. Had no problems during any of my visits, very pleased. Tasty!
