6-16-23 A Nicaraguan Restaurant.
I arrive the place is busy. I'm greeted and seated quickly. My order taken and served within 10 minutes. The place is not much to look at, it's a whole in the wall. But home style cooking is what you will get.
Ordered two items, yuca root (like potatoes) chicharron (pork rinds) plate with cabbage salad in lite vinegar dressing), and a plate of fried ripe plantain bananas, fried cheese and mix beans with rice. Just like home.

The best Nicaraguan! Carne Asada with sweet plantains was soooooo good! And love getting to have some Tona beer too! Large portions, great quality, reasonable prices. Loved the live music too. You gotta try this place when you're in town!

Probably my favorite Nicaraguan restaurant in San Francisco. I don't have any options in the Sacramento Region, so I always come here when I get the chance. Delicious Nacatamales, at a reasonable price.

First time experience with Nicaragua cusiene.. very good taste, pretty pricy but have huge portion.. so worth it.. loved their fried banana style chips.. and homemade salsa... great customer service and fast service, super crowded, loved calala drink😆but they accept only cash wonder why?
