New Tsing Tao Restaurant

I liked their lunch special lemon chicken. The meat was tender. The hot & sour soup was spiced just right. The egg roll was crispy. It was alot of food too for a small price. Keep in mind that there is another restaurant with basically the same name on West Portal Ave. The lemon chicken at New Tsing Tao is much better! I got dinner take out on 8/16/19. The lady at the desk was not friendly, & she did not thank me for my business. I did not like her attitude, but the lemon chicken dinner was great. It did not come with anything, but it was excellent. 9/12/19: the Lemon Chicken & white rice were perfect! 9/28/19: their food is consistent. You get the same very good quality each time, which is important. 12/13/19: Great lemon chicken dinner! I asked for a non menu item of steamed broccoli, zucchini, & carrots, & they accommodated my need for vegetables. That makes me want to come back. 6/21/20: I used their FREE delivery service today!! Their Orange Chicken is perfectly spicy & sweet, with big chunks of white meat chicken, moist white rice, crunchy steamed broccoli, & tasty hot & sour soup.

I've been going to this place since I was in a car seat, now I'm the one carrying a car seat. Sadly due to covid-19 all we can get now is food for takeout. This is one of the most genuine chinese food restaurants in San Francisco. The Staff is always so comforting and very aware of the excellent service they provide. Family owned small business just makes this place so much better. The Sizzling chicken with added prawns and broccoli just make this plate my all time favorite and one that I say if you like chicken and prawns this is one to taste. 5 out of 5 stars all around.

We love going out. Last night we visited this excellent restaurant which friends recommended to us. We passed a beautiful time there with first-rate meal and a professional crew and a professional cook. We put this fine restaurant in our phone list and we will surely return very soon. We highly recommend.

I love this place. Do not confuse this place with Tsing Toa on west portal blvd. This place has great tasting food at reasonable prices. They use nice size no gimmick shrimp in their dishes, which is something a lot of lower quality Chinese restaurants use. I love the service also. There are other Chinese restaurants, even a higher end one close by, but this one is best overall to me.

Classic American Chinese food at reasonable prices. They always have great specials and the food is delicious. I studied some Chinese at university, and the owner is always willing to entertain my terrible Mandarin. Great place for a casual night out. Of course you always needs to order some Tsing Tao beer at New Tsing Tao!

Eat here at least once a month since 2008 The Food here is ALWAYS MADE FRESH WHEN YOU ORDER WITH PREMIUM PRODUCTS, HOT, DELICIOUS and they DO NOT use additives like MSG or extra Sodium based products to enhance flavor. Fried rice is white, with fresh veggies and whatever preference of meat.(Not brown, and oversalted like the usual Chinese food places.) Always friendly service and accuracy on the order. EXCEPTIONAL QUALITY IS WHAT YOU WILL ALWAYS GET!!!
