Ak Meats

Delicious. Had the hot pastrami and it was the best I can remember eating. This sandwich was heaping with meat, with the right amount of mustard. The pastrami was tender, with the right amount of fat and cooked to perfection. The bread was soft and tasty. It turned into 2 meals and I'm a big guy. The people that run the place were very friendly. I will definitely make it back.

Possibly one of the best deli's in the city. Their meat is some of the freshest I've ever seen, taste's delicious as it looks too. Same goes for their sandwiches. Every vegetable they put on their sandwiches is crispy and fresh and clean. They deserve the rating they have. I've been coming here for years and they've stayed consistent. They are not playing games as so many food places in this city nowadays.

Stumbled upon this place one day while walking along clement looking for lunch and was not disappointed. This a small butcher and deli run by A.L. the cutest lady ever who provides really fast, friendly and amazing service. This is definitely a well liked locals spot and you can tell by all of the people who come in to say hi to the owner and she seems to remember everyone that comes in. This is the kind of place I’m always looking for in the city. Friendly, no frills, amazing food and services. Makes you feel at home. This review is for the sandwich Had the AK combo. Nothing crazy special about this sandwich but the ingredients are super fresh and the sandwich was made hot and delicious. Loved how much peppers she put on the sandwich for me. This is a great find and will definitely be making this one of my usual neighborhood sandwich spots.

This place had the most delicious sandwiches. We got the Pastrami and their special (Kinda like a club). They were awesome and the bread on both were excellent. Beyond that though the women that were working there were so kind, and genuinely interested in what was going on with us on our road trip. They even gave us a recommendation for a great beach to eat our sandwiches at, which was way better than the spot we originally had planned. Stop here if you get the chance!
