Beautiful, quiet location in the bustling heart of the SF Financial District. The cappuccino was excellent and included a tasty sample of Newtree chocolate!

New Tree is a wonderful little gem of a store located just off Market Street. Regularly I get lunch here as they offer Vegan/Vegetarian offerings with plastic free and compostable packaging. The staff is so friendly and hard working. Its great to be a “regular” in the store which is so hard to find in such a busy area. I always feel welcome; the food is delicious and there is rarely a line at lunchtime. Support a small, local shop and stop on by.

My go to coffee shop in SF! Great quality coffee. I love the chai latte here it does not taste to sweet or fake like you might find at most coffee shops. Good soups and sandwiches for lunch, and FREE chocolate samples. This place is a must go.

I am obsessed with New Tree. Found out about it through MealPal, and now I consistently reserve my MealPal meals with NewTree, and have tried other goodies there, too. The cafe is so calming and serene, it really is such a nice quiet break. And the food is awesome - very flavorful, and I love the amount of vegetarian options. The staff are always incredibly nice and courteous, too.
Note: google maps will send you the wrong way, if you're on California street, it's in that little plaza at 345 California, near the SF soup company. I almost couldn't find it the first time, but I'm so glad I did!

This place is such a cheat! I joined MealPal and pick a salad in nearly half of what their regular size and missed chicken and perhaps more other items. If you want to be partner with MealPal, then don’t do this because it looks bad on you and not really save enough cost!

Really nice belgian chocolate place to be and tasting. Nice and kind people to welcome you. A huge kind of flavor and chocolates for a delicious and unique great moment. Take time to discover it and look around you the wood decoration. My favorite is Belgian Biscuit ;-)
