I've been to quite a few Vietnamese restaurants in both the bay and Sacramento, but this has been one of the more memorable spots for me. I ordered one of the best Bun Bo Hue I've ever tasted. The broth was rich and full of flavor and actually had some spice to it. We also ordered the woven rice noodles sheet with pork, which was very flavorful and fun to eat with the different vegetables and mint. The garlic noodles were very good as well. The Vietnamese coffee was made in a very different way. It dripped from the top canister to the bottom compartment that had condensed milk. Then you mix it and pour it over the ice. It was the best coffee I had. The service was very good too. They even let me try a sample of a very hard to find dish of Bun Mam, which is a fish based broth. If you like strong fish flavor then I highly recommend this fish. I definitely plan to come back to this place and try other dishes. They told me that they recently opened so I'm assuming it's under new management based on the previous reviews.

The food is straight forward Vietnamese food, no big frills but you get what you would expect. I enjoy their soups as well as their rice/noodle dishes. The to-go sandwiches are a pretty good deal ($4.50) The dining room looks nice compared to your average Vietnamese joint as it was redone not too long ago.

I wanted to try the garlic noodles but it was only for dinner so I had the beef pho and it was flavorful. I liked that it came with some scallions and red onions. Interestingly I got a lemon slice instead of a lime slice to flavor the broth but I didn't end up using it. Service was good. There's a minimum charge if you're using a credit card.

Really top quality Vietnamese food. Exceptionally vegetarian friendly. they also do gluten free sauces upon request. I love the bhan mi (Vietnamese sandwiches) for only 4.50 (they offer these for take away only) - they even offer a tofu one! The owners could not be nicer or more accommodating. A+++++ fyi: it seems like the average price is between $8-$12 per entree

The Mecca of Vegan Pho ... love, love, love this place. Been to Vietnam a few times and this place is the real deal and quite simply the best VEGAN pho I have ever had .. not a vegan spot but many vegan options and always super fresh tasty food. Grab some Pho and then rock across the street for a few at the Knockout.
