Saint Frank Coffee

Bright, welcoming coffee shop with focus on seasonal, single-origin coffees from around the world. The store has a few pastry and granola selections as well; seating is available at a counter or a few shared tables, with a few cafe tables on the sidewalk during favorable weather. This is the roastery for this local chain, and the cafe occupies a small portion of the space.

Wonderful coffee spot with excellent service. Knowledgeable and friendly staff. Their milk alternative almond macadamia nut latte is a winner. Super creamy, not sweet ... and delicious. My husband had a pour over from their fresh roasted beans & gave it high marks. Although we didn’t have any of the bakery items, they looked scrumptious and we noticed at least two gluten-free items, which was nice. Highly recommend!

This is, without question, the best coffee shop I’ve found in SF. The staff is unbelievably friendly and chill, but most importantly the coffee is just remarkable. Roasted in-house, they offer a large varieties of single-origin in the brew method of your choice. Over the course of a week, I tried all four varieties of espresso (including their blend) and all were remarkable. I could review each one individually, but I’ll save you the time and just say go try them for yourself. It’s still surprisingly rare to find shops in SF that are consistently pulling perfect shots, especially across a variety of roasts. Saint Frank has got it down, though. Very highly recommended. 👍

Really nice coffee shop. Great cappuccino, standard prices for SoMa coffee shops, and it has a great patio and beautiful, upscale, open-concept interior design. I enjoyed the almond-macademia milk - but would love if they had oat milk too as that's still my personal favorite. Also bonus points for having decaf espresso as some of the nearby coffee shops don't serve decaf! - meaning it's a perfect location for a late afternoon cappuccino as well.

I'm lucky enough to live just around the corner from this fabulous cafe. First off, the quality of coffee beans that they roast on-site is nothing short of superb. They regularly are trying out new combinations for the next season, and the summer menu for 2018 looks delicious and refreshing. If I wasn't so boring with my regular order of a dry macchiato with the side of tonic, I would try each special drink on the new menu. The customer service here is the best I've experienced out of all the cafes in the neighborhood. (Some of these other high end cafes around SOMA can have both baristas and customers who are a bit pretentious, and St. Frank is nothing like that) I'm stoked to have met a few of the regular baristas who know me and my exact drink order, and who are just so positive and lovely to talk to. For me, there's absolutely nothing better in my day then coming to St. Frank's for my macchiato, chatting with my barista, and then sitting outside where I can write in the sun while listening to music. PS. As far as pastries go, their chocolate chip toffee cookie is out of this world. I *highly* recommend.
