Hinodeya Ramen Bar

Such a nice experience! Got the house ramen and truly enjoyed it. Flavors were spot on and service was friendly and fast. Goza were tender and hot and served with a wonderful dipping sauce. They offered inside seating but I sat outside just to enjoy the sounds of the neighborhood. I would definitely recommend this to friends or family.

Came here with my friend during our lunch hour. There was no line around 1:30 pm, but there were a decent amount of people inside. I can imagine it gets crowded at this restaurant, as it isn't that big. The prices were fair, especially for downtown sf. We ordered the chicken karaage to share and each got the hinodeya ramen. The chicken was enough to share between two. It also came with matcha salt, but I don't think it really added to the dish. The chicken was really juicy and tasty alone. The ramen came out shortly after. We loved that it came with an egg, which was super good. The pork was really flavorful as well. The broth was great and the noodles were cooked perfectly. We both finished our bowls clean. We loved the meal here. Service was great and we can't wait to come back once shelter in place ends.

Regular ramen came with enough toppings to satisfy (maybe I accidentally got more than usual because my partner had less toppings 😂). Broth was of the clear variety due to addition of scallops to the stock so you don't get sick of it unlike the thick kind. The bamboo shoots were also of great quality. Would return.
