I order the special, biscuits and gravy and added bacon. This was a very gourmet biscuits and gravy, spicy gravy with turkey sausage and very interesting biscuit, kind of a thick but light pancake. I thought it was an absolutely fabulous version of Biscuits and Gravy!

This place ROCKS! The staff is friendly and efficient. The grilled cheeses are SO YUMMY. I can’t wait to go back for more with more people. The owner is so nice and funny. He really loves giving back to the community and feeding the homeless. These grilled cheeses are made with love.

Tasty but too small and way too expensive for the size of sandwich. Left hungry with an empty wallet type feel after eating this grilled cheese. I get it you gotta turn a profit but feeling ripped off....and still hungry.

A year ago I was at Off The Grid: Presidio Picnic and their food truck was stationed their. The GrilledCheezGuy is legit an amazing guy with a big heart. I use to work the Off The Grid events and so we started off talking about it and since Off The Grid event was coming to a wrap he gifted me a grilled cheese sandwich for free. I had a friend visiting SF for the first time that was amazed at the kind experience and how delicious the grilled cheese sandwich was especially with their unique spicy jam. I've been recommending The GrilledCheezGuy to all my friends/family that come out to visit me ever since!

The GrilledCheezGuy is a great guy, very friendly and welcoming. His sandwiches are Aaaamazing. On my tour from Germany I got tipped off that it's a local secret spot, a bit hidden, but worth it! And yummy, I would go there again any time. So, if you stay in San Francisco, you gotta try this!

There's literally no contest. This is the best grilled cheese in the entire Bay Area. He's won first in national grilled cheese competitions. A portion of his proceeds go to feeding the local homeless. He feeds them from his own storefront, from his own pocket. He's a stand-up guy with a heart of gold. Don't let the location deter you. It's worth the trip.

Super warm and inviting staff. They just want you to feel like family here. In SF that's totally a rarity. Really awesome decor and artwork too! With how awesome the menu and vibe was I'm surprised this place wasn't packed! Definitely coming back here when i need my comfort food fix!

I hosted an event and The Grilled Cheez Guy came out to support, and they were a hit. Quality grilled cheese sammiches with a bunch of options that came out quick, they handled set up, and I heard only good things from my people. I had one and loved it. We blew passed my estimated sandwich sales and they accommodated the best that they could before running out of fuel and food, but that's definitely my fault. I would definitely have them come out for other events, and the sandwiches are so good it's left me wanting more!
