Left Bank Santana Row

After a few dark years where the "chef" at Left Bank had learned cooking reading some low cost cartoons, Left Bank is back to the excellent food we were used to for so many years. We had the cheeseburgers/ French fries. The burgers were perfectly cooked, exactly like we ordered: one rare one medium rare. The French fries were back to what they used to be: perfect. One of the simple, best burgers in the valley. The only reason l do not give 5 stars is the bad aftertaste we had at the end of dinner: the check added some garbage fees. I am not complaining about the few junk $$ added to the check, l am complaining about the bad taste this gives after a good meal. What's worse than a bad aftertaste at the end of dinner? Common Left Bank, you don't need that incredibly stupid demonstration of greed. If you need to, just add a few $ to the dishes, don't cheat us. I know you can still legally do it, l know how good airlines and other crooked companies are good at it. I hope the FTC will soon finally forbid those dumb practices and force you to make us happy when we leave your place. My recommendation to whoever will be submitted to this garbage: simply deduct those junk fees from your check and leave a note to the waiters.

We held our company holiday lunch here and it was just wonderful from start to finish. Booking was easy. The options for prix fixe meals are comprehensive, so it was easy to accommodate the whole team's needs. Service was attentive and prompt without being intrusive. The food was fantastic, and everyone was pleased with the selection.

Enjoyable experience overall! The venue is pleasant, although a tad noisy. However, the exceptional service and delicious food more than make up for it. I opted for the Niçoise salad, which not only came in a generous portion but was also incredibly tasty. My friend tried the oysters and was thoroughly pleased with her choice. A delightful dining experience with great service and scrumptious dishes.

I had the pleasure of dining at this French restaurant, and it was a truly delightful experience. The service was impeccable - attentive and knowledgeable staff who guided us through the menu with grace. The food was a masterpiece; each dish was a burst of flavor that transported me straight to the streets of Paris. The ambiance was romantic, with dim lighting and soothing music, making it a perfect spot for a special date night. I'll be back for more!

My favorite dishes were the side orders of green beans, mushrooms, and a salad. The vegetables were delectable. Friend really enjoyed the escargot too. Calamari was excellent! The steak frites was chewy but good. Didn’t try the dessert menu but maybe next time! Very classy atmosphere that’s also down-to-earth and feels a little bit like a Cheesecake Factory ambiance.

+ It's a very sexy space, I love the styling of this restaurant. At the top tier with the other best on Santana row for my taste. + Ordered Creme Brule, Fondue, Escargot, Oysters, Raclette Burgers, and Beef Bourguignon -> generally good but the apps felt simple. Oysters were a selection but weren't labeled. + Ordered an amber ale draft and the lady had an orange creamsicle cocktail -> both great selections. + Service was quick and friendly, since the space is so large it looks like most people don't have to wait.
