What a wonderful restaurant! We had garlic shrimp and crab cakes for appetizers. The crab cakes were very good. The garlic shrimp were AMAZING! I had the short rib and my wife had the blackened salmon salad for mains. Both were very very good. We couldn't finish them all so didn't even try dessert. We both agreed: we'll be going back.

Always a pleasure to dine at Sienna Bistro! A classic menu of delicious offerings, great wine list, great service, and relaxing atmosphere on the laid-back heated patio. The chef always makes the rounds and says hello to the customers, which is an added bonus. It is truly a hidden gem and one of the best restaurants in San Jose.

Been coming here a long time. Sad to see economics and COVID destroying local small fantastic restaurants. Such places as these cannot afford to pay the "living wage", as good as that idea is. The margins for small businesses and especially restaurants are just too small. We all know this. This is why traditionally these positions were staffed by students. If you have the time, and the desire, Dave will appreciate your business. Sienna Bistro will always be a favorite place of ours. It is not inexpensive. A great dining experience is not meant to be.

Great food, friendly staff, and cosy ambience. We walked in for dinner and sat outsdie. Inside looked much cuter but it was super loud. We had a meatball appetizer, a salmon entree and an almond crusted sole entre. Meatballs were average, but the two entrees were tasty and generous. I particularly loved the almond crusted sole fillet. The server was very nice and brought water for my dog. Recommend this place and will be back again

Great spot in Downtown Willow Glen just behind the main street, Lincoln Avenue. We came here for my wife's birthday during the week, and we chose to sit outside. The outside has a nice area, and the inside does have a small bar. Our service was very good, as we had a few servers come by and attend to our party of 5. There are a nice selection of specialty drinks, and we had the Angry Rita and Italian Stallion. The clam chowder was good. I had the Sole, and my wife the Butternut Squash Ravioli. Both were very tasty and nice sized portions. The chocolate coffee crunch for Dessert was very nice. The restaurant was busy though not full, and there was plenty of parking.

Would definitely come back to eat just the two 5 star dishes though. Spanish prawns - 5/5, really good Angry pasta -5/5, unexpectedly delicious Crab cakes - 0/5 , the crab cakes themselves lacked flavor and the avocado and sauce didn’t gel well with it . At $22 this was definitely a miss Sole - 2/5, extremely greasy and a very bland almond sauce, rice was ok Pros: Quick and friendly service Located in a parking lot so don’t need to search for parking Good portion size Cute serve ware and decent ambience Cons: Menu is a little over the place in terms of flavor profiles. Some items are definitely overpriced for the taste and quality.

Had dinner there for our first visit, a party of 6 and the service was wonderful. Attentive without being overbearing. The food was also delicious. Each dish was tasty and uniquely flavored, everyone ordered something different, so I think we got a good sampling of entrees and each was enjoyable. The salmon dish in particular was fantastic. Loved the desserts as well. Will definitely return.
