Fuji Sushi

We're definitely returning. The nigiri rice was as good as I've ever had. The fish was supple and flavorful; portions were perfect. Prices were beyond fair. The only miss was that the tempura vegetables were a bit underdone. But the exquisite, generously uncompact-almost relaxed-rolls and the kind, personable service more than made up for this one issue. One caveat for those who eat later: this place fills quickly. Within an hour of being seated there was a line of hungry customers. So go early and you'll thank yourself.

We had the spicy Edamame, shrimp tempura, Hawaiian Rainbow roll and Cherry blossom roll. It was really good. I liked the Hawaiian Rainbow roll best. It has mangoes and Macadamia nuts. Cherry blossom is good too. Simple and has good flavor. You can taste that everything is fresh. I would recommend this place.

Best sushi in the area. Large portions, excellent service. Staff is Korean, so being able to speak in Korean won me some points. I've taken Japanese students here before and they were in love. They even prefer Fuji to places back home. I've been to Japan a few times, and Fuji's sushi is far superior to any place I've been in Osaka, Kyoto, or Himeji.
