The Happy Hour at this beer bar is an absolute steal! The service was prompt, and the staff was courteous and attentive. They have an impressive selection of draft beers, and during Happy Hour, the prices are unbelievably low. The quality of the brews is commendable, and the value for your money is outstanding. It's the perfect spot for a casual get-together with friends after work. If you're looking for a wallet-friendly beer experience, this is the place to be!

Came here before dinner and found this place to have a chill, friendly vibe. The cocktails were delicious, but there was no room to swap out a gin or tequila for a vodka. Seems like the cocktails on the menu are premixed. The deviled eggs were delicious. My only complaint was that I wish the bartenders were excited to create a custom cocktail based on things a person likes. I’ve experienced this at other places, but this place didn’t offer that up for some reason and they were not that busy, as we went when it opened.

We arrived at Paper Planes around 7:30pm on a Friday. Our friend had just had her art show at An Choi art exhibit around the corner, so we walked over for a celebratory drink. We were told to form a line to the left of the front door when we arrived. Our party of 9 were the only ones there. We complied, pulled out our IDs proving we were all 70s and 80s babies and walked in. Since we arrived before the Friday crowd, we were able to get drinks and food quickly. We found a high top table to fit our group. Food was tasty. Drinks were good. Around 9pm the vibe if the place changes. Louder music. The tables got packed. It's a good vibe, just have to yell to carry a conversation over the table. It was $8 for the cheapest draft beer and averages about $16 per cocktail. French fries were $8 for a medium sized portion. So if you're going for beers and fries, it's a deal for this area. We parked in the Fountain Alley lot behind paper planes for $20. Not cheap, but allowed us close proximity to the art gallery and the bar. All in all, great time.

Fantastic cocktail bar with brilliant food and staff. I came in for a few cocktails and some food and sat at the amazing bar with counter to ceiling bottles! I had a Paper Plane to start, followed by two more of the barman’s choice. I ate the mushroom gnocchi which had a Madeira source and the barman paired this with a New York whiskey sour which has a red wine splash on the top - this was a revelation and I definitely recommend this pairing!
