Pizza My Heart

Went to get my free salad from pizza my heart card (cash out) and bought a slice of pizza and also got a free slice of pizza because my card (pizza card) was stamped out. One of the counter workers didn't understand that buying one slice (paying for it) and the other slice was gonna be free. Also, the salad was free from the other row being stamped out. So, a supervisor on duty comes out and fixes the situation, because I was gonna be over charged. I said, that the employee was doing his best and was doing a good job. I was being sincere and honest. The supervisor said, "I can do without the side comments." I was trying to give the cashier/employee/counter worker, a compliment. Then the supervisor walked away talking underneath his breath. I said, you guys have a great night. I understand that sometimes people can't figure things out and need their supervisors and/or managers to rectify/fix a situation but I suppose the supervisor thought I was sarcastically complimenting the employee. My wife and I...go to the restaurant several times a week and sometimes more than once a day. We live/reside...in the Willow Glen area/neighborhood...walking distance from the restaurant and have been going to Pizza My Heart ❤️ since, it has been in Willow Glen/Downtown Willow Glen neighborhood...for over 20 years. My wife and I and my family and friends, enjoy...going to this location. It is a great pizza restaurant and great atmosphere delicious food and beverages/salads/pizza/buffalo wings and also, delicious dessert and refreshing sodas and always, giving this location five stars. 🌟Unfortunately, the supervisor must of been having a bad day. This happened, during the last hour the restaurant was opened...before closing on June 4th 2023 on Sunday night. One star for customer service/reaction of the supervisor...tonight. Five 🌟 stars for everything else.

Great food, reasonably priced, and friendly staff. I wanted to give a shout out to the staff working today. Primarily the young lady behind the counter tonight. Without going into to much detail a little girl was nervous to ask for a Togo container. The young lady noticed after she walked away anxiously a few times without asking. So she went and grabbed two different sizes and brought it to her table and asked which one she would like. She definitely didn’t have to do it. But it was nice, the little girl was clearly anxious and a few of us picked up on it and she picked up on it and tried to remedy the situation gracefully for the child. It was a small gesture that didn’t go unnoticed. I’ll definitely be back.

Big fan of Pizza My Heart, generally speaking and been to many of their locations in the Bay Area. Today was good...not awesome...just good, at their Willow Glen location--hence the 4 stars. They messed up our family's order, didn't say anything to advise us of the error, and kept assisting others that had come long after us. We brought it to their attention, they apologized and shared with us what happened, and gave us a free pizza in addition to the pizza that was the error. All in all, it was okay and we wished their communication with us about the error was up front instead of us having to inquire why the long delay. I'd still recommend the Santa Clara/Mission College location over this one in a heartbeat.
