Took my daughter here for the first time and she loves the sandwich. I always get the half sandwich with a soup combo. Clam chowder and a Turkey Avocado bacon sandwich.. yumm

we are traveling from overseas on our vacation. every year my family and i just have to stop in for the clam chowder soup in the bread bowl. i love how they offer a bread each month to you or give you a discount on your order. for my birthday they gave me a whole loaf of bread which was huge.
we are leaving town but can’t wait to come back again next year

Just had Sunday lunch here. I enjoyed the clam chowder in a sourdough bread bowl...husband had a salad with chicken. Restaurant was cool and clean. Food arrived promptly and service was wonderful!

I found this place by accident, I love, love San Francisco sourdough bread. We came back to buy some but they opened at 10am. It's so fresh and delicious we waited. I brought it home in Southern Oregon.

Nice place for a clam chowder bread bowl or to pick up a loaf of sourdough bread. Unfortunately they only have two kinds of bread. Usually not very busy and has lots of parking.

Five of us went here after seeing a movie down the street. Our order was properly prepared, and our food was warm & tasty. It was a gorgeous evening, so we chose to dine outside on the patio, where we had a wonderful time. We'll definitely dine at this Boudin's location again.

❤️ the clam chowder in a bread bowl and their sourdough 🍕. Sandwich creations changes every season so might not have your favorites. This is where I first tried the fig, apple & gorgonzola sourdough sandwich. Super Yummy! The specialty shape breads are crunchy outside and chewy soft inside. Awesome kid meals that includes an entree, a drink and a huge cookie!

The wife and I are long time supporters of the Boudin SF restaurants. Of course the bread is always fresh and sometimes still warm when served.
The sandwiches are still very good. Not over the top like some of the other sandwich shops.
The salads are large and usually more than one person can eat. I love the Cobb salad. I really loved the chicken BBQ salad but it is no longer available.
The Boudin on Prospect Rd in San Jose is offering dine-in. We went today 3/15/21.
