The Original Pancake House

First time here and the food was amazing. Ended up over ordering in food but it still was too good. Got the chilaquiles, 1/2 carnitas and 1/2 chorizo in it with egg on the side. Super flavorful and had a kick to it. Very good with their salsa along with the hot sauce they had on the table. Also order some biscuit and gravy as a side order and it wasn’t a disappointment. Came here on a Sunday in the morning. Very busy. But you can sit outside as well. You can add yourself to the online waitlist which I HIGHLY recommend

One of the best brunch places in the bay area. Tasty food worth for the price. Plenty of seating and nice atmosphere. We ordered crab cake Benedict, country’s fried steak, California benedict, Waffles, Pancakes. The drinks were fresh and tropical. The parking is limited so you need to find parking on nearby streets.

First time here. Prime location. It got busy quickly. We ordered the Bacon Avocado Omelette with pancakes, the chicken and waffles and the bloody Mary. The omelette was delicious. The waffle was tasty but I didn't care for the chicken with the bones. The chicken was seasoned perfectly though. The bloody Mary tasted like spicy tomato juice. Need to try the Mimosa next time.I'll have to come back and try something different. Overall 4/5 for this place. Beautiful ambiance and staff was very friendly.

1st time trying Uncle John's & they did not disappoint. The service was good, there was a 30mins wait when we registered (don't think we waited that long). The have a small parking lot in the back of the restaurant & street parking.The servers were super nice. They have outdoor & indoor seating(if you have bad allergies don't sit outside, there are plenty of trees & pollen) but the weather was so good to sit inside. The food was good, even had some leftovers. Get the mimosas, so refreshing & delicious (I liked the one with passion fruit). Definitely recommend this place for breakfast or brunch.

Great Pancake House and a great diner! Pancakes are nice and fluffy and they always have a seasonal speciality. Meals are definitely shareable so if you want sweet and savory. We ordered the California omelette and a stack of three pancakes of dulce de leche to share between two people. They have a nice kids meal. If you have two toddlers they could differently share the mini pancakes as it comes with scrambled eggs, bacon, and hash browns. I love that they hand out wikki stix, keeps the kids entertained as we order and wait for the food. And their service is excellent and fast!

Amazing and good value place. The hosts are amazing. Food tastes great. It was the best country fried steak I’ve ever had. Also they were very accommodating with all the Substitutions. Pancakes are also very nice and fluffy and tasty. Hashbrowns were a little bland but that’s fine. Juices can be better. They are not freshly squeezed or anything, just canned juices.

The service was really good. With in getting seated the waitress was at our table taking our order and within 15 minutes our food was in front of us. The food was excellent I had the Cuban Benedict and the taste was amazing my wife had the eggs and hash browns she said the eggs were cooked perfectly. We both shared the pancakes and they were fluffy and delicious. Definitely will visit this restaurant again
