Love the drink! Service was amazing! I usually get brown sugar milk tea ! First to try strawberry recommendation . Both were good ! The ambience is amazing. I went right when shop opened so long queue. Easy to order . The staff was really nice and helpful. They even confirmed my order if I had chosen the right topping . I am sincerely amazed by the staff. Thank you for making my day perfect with the perfect tea.

Tried a lot of teas to settle on 'Earl gray with 3J', love the mango jelly with Earl grey flavor. Prices are decent; to get your money's worth go with no ice, milk/smoothies is cold enough on their own. I wish they had more coffee/espresso flavors. Cannot go wrong with Mango, Lychee for smoothies/ice crushes. I believe they have Lychee as boba too, I would suggest try Lychee if you just want to try one flavor.

So it seems like any place that is decent will have a line, if there's no line there is a reason why that place doesn't. So on a random Monday evening after dinner we stopped by Gong Cha to get some boba. There was about 8 people in front of us, which took us about 20 minutes to get through. I was pretty happy to see that they have an early grey milk tea however on the menu so i persuaded my group to stay to wait in line. Once we got up to order as other mentioned, you have to make the decision on how much sweetness and ice you want. On a hot drink, just the sweetness level. PSA: Start thinking about this while you are in line please to help speed the process! I overhear and saw the few people in front of us taking extra 2-3 minutes trying to figure that out, what do you think i should go with? Have you tried this drink at this sweetness level? How about it at that sweetness level? Is this much ice enough? Should i go with more? Should I go with less?? Seriously people??? You by now should know your own tastebuds to get an idea of what you want. If not, go 100% on it and then adjust next time you come. /endrant. After we ordered, it took another 10 minutes to get our 4 drinks to the group. My hot earl grey milk tea at 50% sweet level was smooth and just right. Honestly if i didn't come with a group however I wouldnt stay in line. Being with your friends makes the line much more tolerable. If I am in the area with friends I would definitely come back.

4.5 stars for service 3.5 stars for drink selection 3 stars for a confusing menu (QT Monster in Newark is simpler, with better drink quality) I only come here when visiting family in SJ, and they want pearl milk tea. This is the Starbucks of tea places: consistent, popular, and just above average -- nothing special.
