Tacos Autlense

I enjoy Mexican food. Being Mexican raised by a family of women with amazing hands for the Mexican of authentic dishes, this place is decent with good seating. The service was top notch and the most important is the dish of food but unfortunately it was not the best, food needed lots more flavor and it was not one food item it was all portions of all meals. Flavor is all spices in a Mexican dish and I do not meal lots of salt to give it flavor. Overall 3.5 stars of 5 for food.

Updated Review: After 30 years of my visits to this same Restaurant still remains the best in food quality and service. My favor dish there is beef soup and Clamato Drink. My old review 4 years ago: Delicious chicken soup, staff very friendly, very cozy for a small neighborhood restaurant and always busy. Just remember cash only no credit cards accepted.

We used to live in the neighborhood and loved coming here for tacos. We recently stopped by for lunch and the food is just how we remember. This time I ordered the flautas - they were perfectly crispy and the serving was generous. My husband loved his huevos rancheros. The sauce was so good and tortillas perfectly crispy beneath his eggs. My mom always bring us their caldo de pollo anytime we are under the weather with a side of arroz and it hits the spot. Our service is always great. Their prices cant be beat. Just FYI - it is cash only, (atm inside restaurant) and parking can be tough as it's a busy shopping center.
