Saigon's Bakery

Today we drive all the way to the East side to get Vietnamese sandwiches as I was craving for it. While browsing places to go, we chance upon this place. The reviews are at 4.3 so off we went. Oh boy! The sandwiches were awesome! The owner is super nice! I highly recommend this place! Please check them out. I got #1, #2 and #6. The drive was worth it from West San Jose!

Tried this place on a whim and it's great! Super affordable (cash), and the sandwiches are cut in half so it almost feels like you get double! Really love their dessert selection too - refreshing and not too sweet. I got an herbal dessert that I don't know the name of, but the man at the counter said that it's good for your heart. Wish I could read some of the Vietnamese items on the menu! Would definitely come back again.

I Visited this place for first time as it was suggested in San Jose from my search of Bahn mi sandwich nearby. I was pleasantly surprised that it was right off 280 on my way home to walnut creek. Huge 🥪 yummy sandwich, good price,, Busy Vietnamese plaza and if this place is out of extras u can order something at next door restaurant or even buy goods at the market in this plaza...I will be visiting Sj in New year, and I will be back. Nice 👌 people too. Thank you !

Our Vietnamese friend took us here on a whim because he was craving banh mi. He ordered the special, I believe it's No. 1 and we ordered the BBQ pork. We've never been disappointed eating banh mi and this was no exception. The bread was soft with the fresh ingredients...so delicious! The prices are reasonable too, I was told it $5 each. Two for the price of one, per our friend. Don't know if he was joking or not since he paid. Will definitely be returning.
