Applebee's

They seemed a bit busy and short staffed. We came for $1 margaritas, and so were other people. But we had a fantastic waitress. She had a great attitude and tried to give us the best service even when it was super busy. Food was great too. Ordered a steak, expecting it to be cooked a little over done. But it was just to my liking. Overall my first Applebee's experience went really well.

The furniture in the restaurant was a bit outdated, but the atmosphere was really good. Like any American restaurant, it was lively, and the TV was broadcasting sports. Also, be careful as you may pay a game fee while playing at the table. The advantage of this restaurant is that you can enjoy food at a reasonable price. The steak had a strong flavor, and the spinach sauce, when dipped in the chips, was really delicious. The vegetables and chicken in the salad were also fresh. The pasta was of average quality. However, the mashed potatoes served with the steak tasted like products sold in the market. And one more thing, cocktails are reasonably priced. I think it was $5 for a beer and $8 for a cocktail. Typically, when we dine out, we spend over $100. However, this restaurant satisfied us with its numerous promotions and quality.

Dinner: Great bourbon steak and mash($19). Huge Electric lemonade ($5) and 9oz merlot($7) Both on all day specials. They offer half off appetizers nightly after 9pm (unfortunately the time wasn't advertised so we arrived 30min too early) Great booth, fast attentive service (Emily) Excellent food & drinks. My wife had the all you can eat boneless wings, flavours were good and six selections, refills were fast and freshly made.

After Monster Jam at the SAP center. We stopped at Applebees for the All you can eat wings. I was very impressed with our swrver Zaid. He is awesome. Always checked to see if we were ready for a refill of wings. We did not have to ask for anything. He is full of energy and social, we really appreciated the positivity vibe he gives out. The wings were good as well, not dry and plenty of flavor. We usually eat at our local Applebees in Watsonville. But I like this lication better.

This location practices the use of masks and seating arrangements as part of covid guidelines. Which is dependent on the tier for the county. I was speaking with a friend about my experience at Applebee's. He started to tell me about some show that asked people, what was the worst place to eat? I guess i can say, contrary to popular belief, I had an excellent time. The server was polite, and interacted with my mom being attentive to her requests. One thing my mom pointed was that the manager at the time was also bringing us our food. I don't get to see that too much. To see the manager really be part of team. Keyla (pronounced Kay-la) was our server. If she gets to be your server, that is total WIN! Great service watched our table and stopped in a few times to check up on us. She was easy to talk to and very down to earth. Attentive to our dining experience. Now for the food. I have provided pictures of what was ordered. I ordered the steak. For this steak I notice many places over do it on how well they cook the steak. I asked for rare, and I was glad I did. Sometimes cooks over cook the meat. You ask medium well, and by the time it gets to your table the steak is well done. If it would have come back well, I still would have ate it is how I also like steak. For me either way is fine for me. When I received my steak it was a good temperature. About the last four bites of the steak were cold. Granted I was having quite the conversation with mom. I am glad she came up to visit. She tends to be a bit picky. So i think it was a good challenge for Applebee's. We did also order appetizers. I would say this is the typical sampler platter. Nothing really stands out. It was still good. The picture shows about where we were at with the appetizer when they brought our food. Overall the the experience was really good. Our server was cool. We got there at about 9:10 in the evening. The time and how long we stayed did not seem to affect our servers attitude or customer service. Steak was juicy and my mother and I enjoyed our food. Hopefully your experience is just as good or better... Cheers!!!
