Friendly customer service, centrally located in N San Jose, corner of First St and Hedding St, made to order delicious Sandwiches of variety of breads, hot delicious soup of the day, avoid visiting during lunch hours, SJPD is within walking distance and it's fairly frequented by city officials, police department and employees working nearby, parking lot is very limited, suggest visiting during lunch hours, moderate prices, highly recommended,

I've been here before, actually a few times the last couple weeks so don't want to give it low stars and I absolutely love TOGO's but..... yesterday after getting a sandwich and taking it home,.... after eating half of it I took out the second half and took a couple bites out of it and had something in my mouth and pulled out a black hair from the guy that made it which grossed me out and I had to throw it away. Now I'm hesitant to want to go there again. So nasty,....blah!

I had been craving a Togo's sandwich for a few weeks now, so I finally decided to stop on my way home from church. I had a very short wait in line before I was warmly greeted by my preparer (or "preparess" since she was a female 😁). Anyhow, after getting her assurance that the wrap I was considering (for my grandma, who does NOT do spicy food AT ALL) isn't spicy, I ordered the wrap for her and a sandwich for myself. Service was fast and friendly, and I'll definitely be back to try some of their salads, which looked (or sounded) good. And my sandwich craving has been sated! One thing I really appreciated was my preparer's kindness. I told her not to mind my watching her roll the wrap because I was hoping to see a professional at work. Every time I try to roll wraps at home, they NEVER turn out correctly. So she rolled it in my view for my own tutorial, which was very sweet of her.
