Chromatic Cafe

It was my first time experience here, I stopped by with my older brother to grab coffee and coffee beans for our expresso machine. The entire vibe of the place is cozy, mainly because of the Christmas decorations. The place has central heating, thankfully it made me feel warm from the cold weather outside. I had ordered their dark chocolate coconut mocha for take away - It had very little flavours of coconut, but mostly dark chocolate. Nonetheless it was a good refreshing drink!

Great coffee and a nice environment. We tried latte and dark coconut mocha, which were both delicious! Will definitely come back. It would be possible to order online, skip the line and just pick up your order. They sell packs of coffee beans with different flavors such as berries, peach, plum, chocolate fudge, etc. I suggest trying their delicious pies, too.

Beware the tasty food! Even though the staff can’t heat up the pies, they were still delicious! I appreciate that both savory and sweet personal pies were available. Drinks were amazing as always. I’m particularly fond of the dark coconut mocha. Atmosphere and seating leave something to be desired, as there is only one outdoor table.

The coconut mocha was great - smooth, rich, not too sweet. There are many different bags of freshly roasted beans available for purchase, with details written down about each one. Or you can order for pickup online and the beans will be roasted to order (in 2 weekdays according to their FAQ)! I didn't try the pastries, but they looked good too. The shop is laid out nicely, with merch etc. Unfortunately there is not much seating - the only seating is not in the shop, it's in a common area, with just metal tables and chairs. So, not the best place to hang out, but I'm definitely coming back for more coffee.

It was entirely different set up than usual cafes. And hence quite interesting IMO. So you can walk inside to the store and put in the order. Then the coffee is delivered outside at the front window. Knowing that would definitely help save some time. The coffee was good. It’s a quiet place to work. The servers were good.

If you come on the weekends, be prepared to wait. At least 15-20 min. I visited a few weeks ago and their coffee was pretty good but nothing out of the ordinary. Service was good, but wished it was faster. They have a variety of coffees and pastries, including coffee beans from all over the world It’s a hidden shop but once you go inside it’s pretty cute
