Nice little gyro place at San Mateo! Extensive menu… lots to choose from.
The guy behind the counter was not very helpful with recommendations even though he did not look very busy!
But whatever I tried was delicious so would definitely recommend this place.

This place is great! Meat is flavorful, the rice is too. The grilled veggies are such a great contrast for the meat and the pepper is not too spicy. The yogurt sauce and hummus are so good too! I LOVE this place and so do my co-workers.

I love this restaurant. I came here years ago with a friend and couldn't stop coming back. We joked that we have eaten here every day for a week. The food is excellent!!! The chicken kabob is my all time favorite. I've visited Turkey in 2018 and the food quality and taste is exactly the same. If you live in the peninsula, I highly recommend you visit this place. It's a hidden gem!

These guys are spot on for the flavors. They offer a wide variety of gyros. The picture is of a chicken gyro. Ambience is not great. Decent pricing.

I usually LOVE this place. The food is yummy but lately the service has been poor. I call in the order and it is not ready when they say it’s going to be ready. They begin making it when I arrive 20+ minutes after submitting my order. The female clerk needs an attitude adjustment. I will no longer be spending my money there.

Waiting time is too long (>20 minutes), and you have to go and ask for your food. The female cashier does not seem to care about the customers. The service is poor. The food tasted good, the chicken and lamb are nicely grilled. The salad is not great, pickled, not worth paying extra to get more.
