Tasty Thai Restaurant

Decent but not the best Thai food. Was having massive cravings for Thai food and strangely quite a few Thai diners are closed on Sunday. Decided to check out Tasty Thai since they were opened and had a Yelp promo (check in for free Thai ice tea and $10 voucher for $15 credit). We ordered Pad Thai, Tom Yum soup, papaya salad and the complimentary Thai Ice tea. Thai ice tea and Tom Yum soup was good. Tasted like the real deal, similar to those we tasted in Thailand itself. Though the Tom Yum soup could have been more spicy but was still nice. The Pad Thai and Papaya salad did not taste authentic and in fact tasted rather weird. Not quite sure what they added into the Papaya salad but was just weird tasting, had a fishy smell. Pad Thai was short on peanuts and the taste was just not right. Service was good and she is authentic Thai! Price was alright especially with the coupon and complimentary ice tea. Not sure if I'll give it a go again, perhaps when we have massive Thai cravings on a Sunday.

My girlfriend and I absolutely love Thai Food. We were immediately drawn to this restaurant because of the ambiance (something weighed heavily in my reviews), and general family owned feeling. I had the Pa-naeng Curry, and my gf had the drunken noodles. We also had two Thai Tea's. I almost always get the some type of curry when I go to a Thai restaurant and they definitely nailed the curry flavoring. Overall the food was amazing and we will defiantly be going back! 5 stars!

Stopped in for some Tom Kha. This is one of my favorite soups and my go to Thai dish, but here it was just off. The shrimp was cocktail shrimp, the vegetables were raw and the soup itself was sour. Normally Tom Kha is creamy with a delicious flavor, but this one is just sour. The services was good, but if this staple dish is any indication I'll avoid trying more.
