Papa Johns Pizza

They delivered to the wrong address and refused to refund me. I called Corporation and they informed me that sense they use DoorDash that I would have to contact DoorDash for my refund. This is totally not acceptable and I recommend no one should order Papa Johns until they take care of there customers

When I went to pay for my pizza I killed a small insect on the counter. Not a roach, but a small crawling insect. Paid $35 for carry out large epic stuffed crust Philly cheese steak Pizza. Pizza isn't bad, but it isn't great either. Also, they are very, very very stingy with the meat. 1 itty bitty piece of meat per slice. I basically paid $35 for a cheese pizza. At least the stuffed crust is better than round table, but still not at pizza hut level. Basically, I won't be back. Not sure if other locations are better, but won't be looking for any in the future. I'll just drive to South San Francisco to Pizza Hut where I always get a decent pie

We ordered Large The Works. What happened th o the Pizza Sauce? It's too SWEET, YUK. This is not the Pizza Sauce I come to know Papa John . Pizza Sauce is Pizza Sauce, NOT SWEET and Sour SAUCE.. Even the BBQ Chicken Wings was SO SWEET, we had to rinse away the BBQ SAUCE to eat the Wings. We called the Papa John at 43rd, the guy that answered didnt even give us time of day to make up.for our previously favourite PAPS John's PIZZA. SAD ************************ THIS IS AN UPDATE ************************ After 2 years we went back to try Papa John's again. Just couldn't see paying $32.99 for a Large Specialty Vegetarian Pizza from the other Pizza joint down the street, (they're not Rainbow Pizza) & also since Papa John's had $14 any Large Specialty Pizza, we just had to try... So glad we did, we were surprised how the Pizza tasted good & had good amount of Toppings vs Dough Ratio. We especially loved the whole roasted cloves pieces of Garlic on our Specialty Vegetarian Pizza. 4 Stars because the Philly Cheese Steak only had a few pieces of Steak, it could have had more fillings, & it would have been good, since the Crust was good. Regular Papa John pizzeria, with the normal Papa John’s menu. This place does deliver. There is a health code inspection sign on the window stating they passed the inspection, however there are no dates nor a name of the inspector on the sign. The sign is completely blank. Looks fishy. So thread carefully, no information how clean the kitchen actually is!

I usually don't bother with reviewing chains but, my pizza was BAD. I only live half a mile from this location but my pizza and breadsticks came to me lukewarm and SOGGY. They really skimped on the toppings, completely forgot the bacon that I added to my order and forgot extra garlic sauce that I ordered. It wouldn't be a big deal if the sauce was free but I was charged extra for it. I've had Papa Johns from other locations and always had great quality pizzas. Guess that's not the case here or maybe it's an off night. :(

EDITED: They responded saying "we only follow the CDC washing-hands an monitoring COVID-19 requirements". They did not give an explanation on why they do not wear face coverings or masks. If I could put a 0 star I would, they are clearly not taking the Pandemic seriously and putting their customers health at risk. PANDEMIC REVIEW : I haven't been ordering much food since the Pandemic hit, but one of the few places I've been ordering from, is Papa John's pizza. Today I placed an order for a pickup, and for my surprise ALL THE EMPLOYEES working inside were not wearing a mask! This is unacceptable coming from a food chain like this. And I can't imagine what other safety measures they ARE NOT FOLLOWING!!! Surely this shows bad management, ignorance, and simply not care at all. I know this is a franchise so I hope whoever owns this spot sees it, otherwise we will notify and complain to the audits team!
